New Laos luxury travel experience. Luang Prabang by bicycle

We are thrilled to announce the addition of an incredible new luxury travel experience to our extraordinary collection of natural, cultural and active experiences in Indochina. Soak up the heady atmosphere and colour of Luang Prabang, from monks clad in burnt sienna robes and resplendent gold and claret wats, to the sparkling Mekong River and banks of overgrown frangipani trees. This afternoon, you discover atmospheric Luang Prabang by bicycle.

Cycling under the dappled shade of frangipani trees pass by the tranquil waters of the Mekong River and discover glittering temples and the beauty of this remarkably well-preserved townscape, blending traditional Lao and French-colonial architecture. Turn back in time with a visit to Haw Kham, the magnificent former royal palace built in the early 1900s. Back on your bikes soak up the townscape filled with monks in saffron robes going about their daily business, before visiting the glittering temples of Vat Xieng Thong and Vat Visoun. Cycling back to the charming La Residence Phou Vao, relax in the infinity-edge pool overlooking the atmospheric UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang below. Tonight, venture into town, wander through the colourful night markets and enjoy an alfresco dinner in one of Luang Prabang’s restored colonial villa restaurants. The ultimate Luang Prabang experience.
